Kitchen exhaust hood UVC fixtures are designed to use UVC germicidal light and ozone-generation to reduce odor emissions and grease deposits commonly found in kitchen exhaust hoods. They reduce the risk of grease fires in commercial kitchens by exposing airborne pathogens to ultraviolet germicidal light and ozone. This combination can remove virtually all grease particles greater than 8 microns, which are then carried out through the exhaust.

These fixtures are ideal in diners, restaurants, fast food establishments, commercial kitchen, and industrial fish and meat kitchens. They can be installed anywhere that grease and oil are used to bake or fry food.

Kitchen exhaust hood UVC fixtures are easy to mount, either singly or in parallel configurations, and they come in a variety of lengths, from 14" to 45". They are multi-voltage (120-277V) and multi-frequency (50/60 Hz).

Because of the unique design of the fixture, replacing the UVC light bulb has been simplified. They do not require the fixture to be unmounted - bulbs can be switched out by removing the rear access panel, sliding off the lamp retaining clips, and pulling the bulb out.
