Upper room ultraviolet UVC fixtures are designed to control the spread of airborne pathogens in hospitals, jails/prisons, government and commercial buildings, and other locations. Specially-designed louvers direct ultraviolet radiation above contact level with humans, usually 7' or above. Properly installed and operated, they are designed to be used in occupied spaces.

Linear upper room fixtures can be mounted on walls, and multiple can be mounted in one space for larger coverage areas. They feature easy bulb changes, as the louver system is held with large thumbscrews on either side, dropping the hinged louvers down and providing access to the bulbs.
